Staff

We look to employ people who treat others with dignity and respect.

A career in care can be a challenging, but rewarding career path to choose. At Mentaur we provide career opportunities to those who have experience of working in care and also to those looking for that first step into the profession.

Retaining and developing staff is our goal and we always look to promote our staff internally via talent management and our robust training programme, ensuring that our staff have the right knowledge and experience to deliver the high standards of care that we expect. We push our team members to aim higher and as such we currently have Registered Managers who started with us at Support Worker level.

Should you be successful in securing employment with us we will support your development from the start. All team members are inducted in line with the Skills for Care Induction Guidelines and you will become familiar with our policies and procedures and with the people we provide the service for. All team members are also encouraged to complete their QFC (previously NVQ) in care and our pay structure reflects the achievement of such qualifications (or equivalent care related qualifications).

The company also provides team members with training to help their development, please see our training page for further information.
